Manhattan ? Free State High freshman Grace Brahler closed out her strong rookie campaign by shooting a 95 on Monday during the Class 6A-5A state girls golf tournament at Manhattan Country Club.

Free State senior Sally Konzem was also part of the 102-player field and finished her high school career by shooting 113.

Washburn Rural’s Adin Stromgren won the individual title with a 74, while Manhattan blew away the field to win the team title at 317 – 29 shots better than runner-up Blue Valley North.

Free State did not record a team score with just two qualifying golfers.
