Bad politics

To the editor:

There is something about politics that never did set well with me.

When a politician comes into our state and raises a large sum of money for a person that has been in office for six years in order for him to defeat an opponent, there has got to be something wrong someplace. His record should show something in his favor since he is on the right ticket to get the most votes in Kansas.

Someone should have raised an equal amount for his opponent.

When Cheney left for Washington, we should have told him not to forget his prize since he was the highest bidder. Don’t forget your prize when you leave.
