Case not made

To the editor:

I wonder if Kansas State Board of Education member Steve Abrams understands what the words “irony” and “hypocrisy” mean. After stating that “personal insults from this liberal governor are the only arguments she can make due to the lack of her own accomplishments,” he then proceeds to make several inflammatory and derogatory statements (I counted eight) about the governor.

He complains that the governor can only insult individuals because she cannot make her case. However, I did not see where Abrams made his case. It makes me wonder just who is guilty of “innuendo, name calling, deflection of responsibility and attempting to power grab.”
