Animal technician receives designation
Mary Berg, a registered veterinary technician at Gentle Care Animal Hospital, Lawrence, now holds the Veterinary Technician Specialist in Dentistry designation, presented Sept. 22 in conjunction with the annual Veterinary Dental Forum in Portland, Ore.
Berg is a charter member of the Academy of Veterinary Dental Technicians. She worked in veterinary dental research for 13 years before joining Gentle Care, and continues to work as a research consultant on oral care products. She also trains veterinary technicians nationwide.
