Entries are still being accepted for the Lawrence Junior Achievement bowlathon, set for Oct. 20 to 22 at Royal Crest Lanes in Lawrence.

Proceeds from the annual event are used to help fund Junior Achievement programs that reach nearly 4,000 school children in Douglas County.

Organizations say that while many area businesses already are fielding teams and otherwise participating, openings are still available.
