Architect, technician hired at Landplan

Lawrence-based Landplan Engineering recently hired two new employees.

Andrew Buchwitz works as a landscape architect in the company’s Lawrence office, handling research, analysis, preliminary design, graphic support and technical assistance on projects. Current projects include a Stephens-Noller office development, the Mercato planned commercial development and redevelopment plans for Clinton Cove in Lawrence.

Buchwitz is a 2006 graduate of North Dakota State University, where he received bachelor’s degrees in landscape architecture and environmental design.

Ray Farmer is working as an engineering technician in Landplan’s office in Kansas City, Mo., working on projects including Meadowlark Addition in Eudora and Sutter Woods and Sutter Highlands subdivisions in Junction City.

Landplan provides services for civil engineering and landscape architecture from offices in Lawrence, Kansas City and Junction City.
