Capitol Federal Savings employees supplied Thanksgiving meals to 250 families in communities where the bank has branches, with the Capitol Federal Foundation providing $12,250 grant money for the purchase of meals.

The bank purchased catered meals – turkey, potatoes, other vegetables, stuffing and dessert – through Hy-Vee, Dillons and other stores.

In Lawrence, Capitol Federal partnered with Ballard Center and Head Start to furnish meals.
