Environmental artist Stan Herd will present “An Artist’s Journey” at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Fellowship Hall of Trinity Lutheran Church, one block east of 13th and Massachusetts streets.

Herd will give a brief history of his earthworks evolution leading to his work in New York and Cuba, and the dangers and rewards of using art in international politics. He also will discuss the possibilities of a “new” emerging art scene in Kansas around the synergies among film, music and the arts.
