RunLawrence offers Thanksgiving race
Here’s your chance to get some exercise before the feast.
The runLawrence club is offering a Thanksgiving Day 5K run on the city streets of North Lawrence and the Kansas River levee. The race begins at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Lawrence Visitor Center, 402 N. Second St.
Registration for the all-ages race is $25. Preregistration is available at Francis Sporting Goods, 731 Mass., or online at www.runlawrence.org Participants also can sign up on race day.
First-place male and female runners receive a $50 gift certificate from Francis Sporting Goods. The top three male and female racers in each age group receive handmade awards.
