Lawrence Habitat elects president
Jeffrey J. Alderman, Lawrence, has been elected president of Lawrence Habitat for Humanity for a one-year term that runs until September.
Alderman is the executive director of the Kansas Bar Assn. and its philanthropic arm, the Kansas Bar Foundation. Both are in Topeka.
Lawrence Habitat for Humanity, founded in 1989, has entered partnerships with 60 families to make simple, decent and affordable homes possible for families in need of adequate housing.
Alderman succeeds Jill Shelley, Lawrence.
