County Commission OKs request to rezone land
A request to rezone a 10-acre parcel of land near Eudora was approved Wednesday night by Douglas County commissioners.
The parcel, on property at 1273 East 1900 Road owned by David and Pamela Morrison, is being changed to an A-1 suburban home residential district. It had been zoned as agriculture and valley channel districts.
The Morrisons sought the rezoning so that the parcel could be sold.
An old house and a barn are on the property. No changes except for the possible restoration of the buildings is expected.
The rezoning was recommended for approval by the county planning staff and the Lawrence-Douglas County Planning Commission.
