Jessica Gaughan, a hearing instrument specialist for the Hearing Aid Center, Lawrence, recently earned credentials from the Kansas State Board of Hearing Aid Examiners to practice fitting and dispensing hearing aids.

Gaughan will oversee and operate a new Hearing Aid Center that is scheduled to open in February in Topeka. Gaughan, who lives with hearing loss herself, has been working as the center’s office manager in Lawrence.
