Crown salesman a ‘truck champion’
Tim Ballew, a salesman at Crown Toyota in Lawrence, has been certified as a Toyota Truck Champion after completing four days of training regarding the 2007 Toyota Tundra at a Toyota truck manufacturing plant in Princeton, Ind.
The initiative is part of Toyota’s plans to make trucks and truck selling a focal point of Toyota dealerships nationwide.
Ballew learned about the Tundra – designed, engineered and built in the United States – from truck industry experts. He also learned truck business management techniques, underwent an in-depth technical vehicle immersion and received a behind-the-scenes tour of plant operations.
