Dan Cary, a senior financial adviser in Lawrence for Ameriprise Financial Services Inc., has earned the company-sponsored title of Business Financial Advisor.

The designation comes after Cary completed an examination and satisfied requirements related to working with clients and taking courses. He is among nearly 1,600 Ameriprise advisers who have earned the designation, demonstrating that they have the experience and knowledge to serve owners of small businesses.

Such advisers receive ongoing training and information regarding a variety of developments in the financial services industry, including changes in tax laws that affect small businesses.

Cary’s office is at 1321 Wakarusa Drive, Suite 2000. He has been providing financial planning advice and services to clients since 1994.
