To the editor:
The plan to extend 31st Street is a question some people will like, some hate! But the idea of putting roundabouts at every intersection is idiotic! Our planning commissioner must think he is Tinkerbell; whenever he sprinkles fairy dust with his magic wand, a roundabout appears.
Yes to 31st Street. Maybe for 32nd Street. But no roundabouts.
The idea is to allow fast crossing of the town, not create traffic jams.
As to the likes or hates folks have for our wetlands, let’s be truthful. If one of our local developers or contractors wanted to build homes or businesses in the wetlands, the bulldozers would be unloaded the next day.
