Free State High catcher Allie Hock and second baseman Livi Abney, both juniors, have been named to the All-Sunflower League softball team as selected by league coaches.

Firebirds named to the second team were senior pitcher Summer Mulford and freshman outfielder Rosie Hull. Lawrence High senior shortstop Drew Huff also made the second team.

Earning honorable mention were Free State’s Brooke Abney and Kaylee Lane, and the Lions’ Erin Miller and Lauren Kelly.

Free State’s Pam Pine and Olathe East’s Jeff Hulse were tapped co-coaches of the year.
