Responsible owners
To the editor:
I sympathize with Rebecca Cruse’s complaint about dogs relieving themselves on her property. We often can’t stop the dog from going where it will, but a responsible dog owner will pick it up. The technique is simple: Put your hand into a plastic grocery bag, grab the stuff with the bag, and then tie it closed with handles. Cleaning up after your dog ensures it is not a health hazard to others, particularly children.
