Literacy fundraiser slated for today
The Altrusa Club of Lawrence will host the first Run, Walk, Ride for Reading fundraiser from 9 a.m. to noon today.
The fundraiser will help support community literacy projects. The event will be at the Kaw River Trail near the Lawrence Visitor’s Center, 402 N. Second St. For more information, visit the club’s Web site, www.altrusaoflawrenceks.com.
