Lawrence Presbyterian Manor was nominated for a Human Resources Development Quality First Award from the Kansas Association of Homes and Services for the Aging.

The association nominated the Lawrence retirement community for the award, which honors a not-for-profit retirement community that provides an innovative and supportive work environment through exceptional practices in need-based staffing, innovative training, creative benefits and caregiver support.

Presbyterian Manor was nominated for its Safety Matters program, under which the community’s employees have gone more than four years without a lost day from work because of an on-the-job accident or injury.
