Too many guns

To the editor:

I have a question concerning concealed weapons. Don’t we have enough killing now? If a person is allowed to carry a concealed weapon, then how is a person supposed to feel safe? Standing in line at the banks. Eating at the restaurant and sitting by an annoyed customer? Hit by a flying bullet when a helpful citizen aids the police by shooting an alleged criminal in the act.

How will we keep weapons from young children? Children learn from their parents’ example. Children will think it’s OK to take weapons out of the house and to school, the playground, amusement parks or other locations because a parent carries one.

There will be more weapons in homes, and those may not be unloaded and locked up every night.
