Libertarian chairman to speak in Lawrence
Michael Dixon, the national chairman of the Libertarian Party, will be the featured guest tonight at a Lawrence fundraiser.
Dixon, of Charlotte, N.C., will be on hand from 7 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at 521 Durham Court, which is the home of Patrick Wilbur, vice chair of the Kansas Libertarian Party.
The event costs $25 per person, or $10 per student, and proceeds will benefit the Libertarian Party of Kansas.
Rob Hodgkinson, state party chairman and candidate for secretary of state, also will attend.
