Nine Kansas University seniors and recent graduates have received Omni Awards from the Advertising Club of Kansas City.

The awards honor creativity and excellence in broadcast, print, interactive and other design categories. Local winners can advance to regional Addy awards and regional winners can compete nationally.

Local winners include Ann Liu of Lawrence and Katherina Espinosa-Machado of Lawrence.

Other winners are Garrett Owen, Jane Huschka, Brynn Johnson, Jessica McEntire, Megan McNellis, Kevin Faddis, and Danielle Agriopoulos.
