Law enforcement report
¢ Lawrence Police arrested a 39-year-old Lawrence man Saturday night for threatening a 41-year-old man with a knife at the Cross Town Tavern, 1910 Haskell Ave.
¢ Lawrence High School filed a police report Monday regarding an 11th-grade student found with marijuana. The student was suspended.
Burglaries and thefts reported
¢ A 51-inch Hitachi television valued at $2,677, a $2,000 Pioneer DVD player with surround-sound speakers, and an assortment of DVDs were stolen between 8:50 a.m. and 11:20 p.m. Sunday in a forced-entry burglary at the trailer park at 100 Ark.
¢ A 23-year-old Kansas University student reported losing $1,662.30 between March 14 and March 23 from someone illegally using his bank card for online gambling.
¢ A burglar pried open the door of a home in the 4000 block of Overland Drive between 6 p.m. March 20 and 3:19 p.m. March 22 and stole more than $8,500 in property, including video games, a television, computers, turntables and an audio mixer.
¢ A 33-year-old Lawrence man reported his $1,500 Diamondback mountain bike stolen between March 11 and March 13 from the 900 block of Massachusetts Street.
¢ A 63-year-old Lawrence man reported that someone pried open the door to his trailer in the 1900 block of East 19th Street and stole a rifle, cameras and a handheld GPS device. It happened between noon March 18 and 7 p.m. Sunday.
