Oskaloosa ? State Rep. Lee Tafanelli, R-Ozawkie, will be honored Saturday for his recent service in Iraq by the Jefferson County Republican Central Committee.

Tafanelli will be recognized during the committee’s annual Eggs and Issues breakfast from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the American Legion Post 142 in Perry.

Taffanelli is a lieutenant colonel with the Kansas National Guard. He will be the keynote speaker. The public is invited. Tickets cost $4.
