Lecompton ? Parents whose children will begin kindergarten in August are invited to a meeting at Lecompton Elementary School.

The event will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 30, at the school. It will include information about enrollment procedures.

While there, parents will be able to schedule a time for health screenings April 6 at the school. Immunization and Kansas Health Assessment forms also will be available.

Children who will be in kindergarten can visit the classroom and do activities during the meeting. Child care for other children will be available.
