Five-lot subdivision on today’s agenda
Douglas County commissioners have various items on the agenda for their 8:30 a.m. meeting today.
They will decide whether to approve a final plat for a proposed five-lot, single-family residential subdivision of about 18.5 acres. It is on David E. Mears’ property at the northwest corner of East 1600 and North 1000 roads.
Commissioners also will:
¢ Consider a resolution establishing an agricultural building permit exemption from the county building code.
¢ Consider approving a resolution ordering the county counselor to begin tax foreclosures on properties in tax arrears for the years 2001 and earlier.
¢ Consider a recommendation for purchasing vehicles for the sheriff’s office.
¢ Consider purchasing a milling attachment for the Public Works Division.
¢ Discuss wastewater reclamation plant site location issues.
¢ Consider a resolution regarding certain outdoor burning practices.
