The Lawrence branch of the NAACP will raise money for its scholarship fund with the annual Soul Food Dinner Saturday.

The dinner will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 1330 Kasold Drive.

This year’s menu will include smoked brisket, fried chicken, green beans, macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes, corn bread and peach cobbler. Nationally recognized Gran-Daddy’s BBQ will smoke the brisket for the dinner.
