Meals volunteer wins Cornerstone award
Paul Getto, recipient of CornerBank’s Community Cornerstone Award for June, will be honored at 4:30 p.m. today with a public reception at the bank, 4621 W. Sixth St.
CornerBank will donate $100 on Getto’s behalf to the Meals on Wheels program.
Getto has served on the board of directors for the Lawrence Interdenominational Nutrition Kitchen (LINK) since its founding in 1988. He also volunteers at the Lawrence Visitor Center and at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
