Neighborhood up for planning board’s OK
Lawrence-Douglas County planning commissioners tonight will consider a preliminary development plan for a new neighborhood along Haskell Avenue.
Commissioners will meet at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. Items included on the agenda are:
¢ a preliminary development plan for Prairie Wind Single Family Homes. The project proposes 17 single-family homes on 3.04 acres at 2620 Haskell Ave.
¢ a use permitted upon review for a 150-foot cellular telephone tower at McDonald Drive and Interstate 70.
The 10-member Planning Commission acts in an advisory capacity. Final approval for projects must be given by city commissioners or county commissioners.
