To the editor:
I would like to congratulate and thank all the people who were involved with the Lawrence Relay for Life this month. Your hard work helped raise another record amount for the American Cancer Society!
I am one of 26 national stakeholders for the ACS, which means I travel to the home office in Atlanta twice a year to participate on a peer-reviewed research grant committee and represent cancer survivors as a lay member. I can’t tell you how proud I am to report each time I go to Atlanta that my Lawrence RFL has contributed even more dollars to ACS for these research grants. Thank you from the bottom of my grateful heart!
