Treanor Architects adds shareholders

Lawrence-based Treanor Architects has four new shareholders on its board of directors: Vance Kelley, Andrew Pitts, Sharon Schmitz and Joe Stramberg.

The four join Michael Treanor, Steve Malin, Dan Rowe and Nadia Zhiri as principals at the firm, which has offices in Lawrence, Topeka, Kansas City, Mo., and St. Louis.

Kelley, a Kansas University graduate, has been with the firm since 2000 and manages the firm’s 10-year, $160 million renovation/preservation of the Kansas Statehouse. Pitts, also a KU graduate, has been with Treanor since 1994 and manages the firm’s Kansas City office.

Schmitz, a Kansas State University graduate, joined the firm in 1999 and manages the company’s St. Louis office. Stramberg, a KU graduate, manages student-housing projects nationwide.
