No-growth ‘success’
To the editor:
Well, isn’t that special? The no growth (oops, I mean “smart growth”) gang is certainly doing their job! (Destroying our beautiful city.) They are truly regressive (oops, I mean “progressive”) with their no-growth agenda. And we all are going to pay a big price (literally and figuratively) for their “success.”
Recent census data make it clear that they are doing a “great job.” They have replaced almost every key city official with someone of their philosophy, and scared off many businesses and residents considering Lawrence for their home. I hope their “success” is remembered in the next city election.
