New data from the U.S. Census that shows Lawrence is losing residents will be the subject of an online chat this afternoon on the Journal-World’s Web site.

Xan Wedel, information specialist for the Policy Research Institute at Kansas University, will chat about the new subcounty population estimates for 2005 released this week.

Wedel also serves on the National State Data Center Steering Committee for the U.S. Census Bureau.
