Passing blame

To the editor:

Regarding the suicides at Guantanamo: Does it surprise anyone that the Bush administration would blame the three dead prisoners for conspiring together to commit suicide? Then to fault them for hiding that they are killing themselves as a protest so the guards, who are ordered to check the prisoners every two minutes, can be absolved of any carelessness is unbelievable.

Two days after the suicides we learn that these three men are now accused of being serious terrorists with a history of terrorist activities. If this accusation from the Bush administration is true why were they not charged and tried in court for their crimes?

I can no longer believe the Bush administration or anyone who is part of it.
