Lawrencian named finalist for award
Perceptive Software CEO Scott Coons, Lawrence, has been named a regional finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 Award.
The awards program was designed to recognize entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic and growing businesses.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony June 22 in Kansas City.
When Coons joined Perceptive Software at age 28 in 1995, the fledgling company had a handful of employees and not a single customer. He built an executive team and they refocused product, marketing and sales strategies that enabled the company’s continuous expansion. Today, the company employs more than 250 professionals, and more than 1,100 organizations use ImageNow and other Perceptive Software products.
