Proud effort
To the editor:
I have been in the construction industry for 36 of the past 40 years. All of us in the business know it to sometimes be a challenging profession considering problems with weather, communication and overall coordination of many interests.
Never have I been prouder to be a part of this activity than this past weekend as I watched builders and craftsmen from all over Lawrence work together on the Habitat for Humanity Lawrence Home Builders Association Blitz Build. Channel 6 and the Journal-World’s Web cam captured the combination of frenzied activity and ordered harmony that existed here.
