Midland Hospice Care will train volunteers on Saturday in Topeka to help support terminally ill patients and their families.

Volunteers typically spend two to four hours per week in service. Administrative volunteers also are needed for clerical work and office duties, said Julie Prideaux, a Midland Hospice Care spokeswoman.

The one-day training for volunteers will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 200 S.W. Frazier Circle in Topeka.
