Online chat to feature home building director

Have questions about this weekend’s ‘blitz build’ of a new Habitat for Humanity house in eastern Lawrence?

Bobbie Flory, executive director for the Lawrence Home Builders Assn., will respond to Journal-World readers this afternoon in an online chat.

The chat will begin at 1:30 p.m. today on the Journal-World’s Web site at www.ljworld.com.

Readers may submit questions early or during the chat. A transcript will be posted during and following the chat.

The new home, which will have three bedrooms and one bathroom, will be built near the corner of Homewood Street and Bullene Avenue.

The schedule calls for framing to start at 6 a.m. Friday and run through grading and sod installation Sunday.
