Report on fatal wreck still in the works
A police report on the wreck Friday that killed two Tonganoxie men – initially expected to be finished Tuesday – is still in the works, police said.
Ben Pickert and Jacob Wyrick died early Friday near 21st and Iowa streets when their Mustang struck a tractor-trailer.
At the time, police said that speed, slick roads and alcohol all would be looked at as possible contributing factors but that they wouldn’t know for certain until a report was finished.
