Joe Lee, China businessman and recently retired Kansas University professor of civil, environmental and architectural engineering, will be the guest speaker at the Lawrence Technology Assn. meeting.

The club will meet at noon Thursday at Plum Tree Restaurant, 2620 Iowa. The cost is $9 for members and $12 for guests.

Lee is an entrepreneur in China where he has actively participated in several construction and technology related projects. He will talk about the cultural differences between the United States and China. His topic will be “Doing Business in China.”
