GCSAA manager earns designation
Janet Satterlee, senior manager of chapter services at Golf Course Superintendents Association of America in Lawrence, recently earned the Certified Association Executive credential from the American Society of Association Executives.
Satterlee is among about 3,300 association professionals to hold the CAE credential. To be certified, applicants must have a minimum of three years experience in nonprofit organization management, complete a minimum of 75 hours of specialized professional development, pass a management examination and pledge to uphold a code of ethics.
