Parade highlight
To the editor:
To the fireman, medics and police officers who volunteered their time at the fifth annual Morning Star Church Neighborhood Bike Parade, thank you for giving your time and energy to the Fourth of July Bike Parade in the Quail Run neighborhood. Your presence at the parade was definitely the highlight! Your enthusiasm and patience with more than 150 kids and their parents helped make this a fun community event.
Furthermore, thank you for all that you do for the community. Your efforts make Lawrence a safe and great place to live.
