Police praise
To the editor:
I would like to commend the Lawrence Police Department for recovering my stolen property.
Two weeks ago my new bike was stolen outside of my back door, and an officer came by today with the bike.
From the time I made my report to them bringing back the bike, they were courteous, helpful and understanding. It is great to know I live in a town with a fantastic police force that is friendly and effective.
