Kimberly J. Strom-Gottfried of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill is the second candidate for dean of Kansas University’s School of Social Welfare. She will meet with faculty and others from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Jayhawk Room of the Kansas Union.

Strom-Gottfried is a professor at UNC. She served as associate dean at UNC’s School of Social Work in 1999-2001 and as interim dean in 2000-2001.

Strom-Gottfried seeks to fill the position that will be vacated by Ann Weick, who will retire at the end of this academic year.
