A class at Kansas University's School of Architecture and Urban Design will assist New Orleans residents by designing and building a community resource center.
The class is seeking financial contributions to assist with its efforts.
KU students will design and build the Seventh Ward Building Arts Gallery, which will function as a resource center for people seeking help in the city's rebuilding efforts in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
The collaborative project involves KU, the Tulane University City Center and Neighborhood Housing Services of New Orleans.
For information about the project, contact Nils Gore via e-mail at ngore@ku.edu.
