Anyone wanting to learn more about the Relay for Life’s fight against cancer can do so Jan. 26.

The kickoff rally will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Free State High School commons area.

The kickoff will provide more information to anyone wanting to know more about the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event on June 9.

The all-night annual event includes a luminary ceremony to honor cancer survivors, anyone diagnosed with cancer, those who have lost battles to the disease and caregivers.

Teams at the event walk around the track at Free State High to raise funds to fight cancer.
