The Lawrence Police Department is attempting to identify a suspect in a liquor store burglary that occurred on Dec. 27 at Spirit Liquor, 600 Lawrence Ave.

Early that morning, an alarm sounded after the suspect broke the glass out of the two front doors. A person stole several items from the store, police said in a statement.

The suspect was described as a white male, slender build, and last seen wearing a hooded black jacket with white stripes along the sleeves, jean shorts, black shoes and white gloves. He is shown to the left in an image taken from a surveillance camera.

Police ask that anyone with information call the department at 841-7210.
