Poor choice
To the editor:
Amazing. A subdivision named “Quantrill Acres” in Douglas County? Remember Quantrill? Led the raid on Lawrence during which over 150 civilians were murdered and much of the town looted and burned? One wonders if this is part of a plan by the developer to eventually name a series of subdivisions after mass murderers – perhaps we’ll see “McVeigh Estates” or “Bin Laden Townhomes” next?
