Injury Accident

¢ A 43-year-old man was transported to the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., by air ambulance Saturday night after a one-vehicle accident in southwestern Douglas County, said Lt. Kari Wempe, spokeswoman for the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.

The man was traveling westbound on the gravel-covered North 150 Road when the vehicle struck a guard rail, Wempe said.

The accident occurred about 9:10 p.m. near the intersection of East 650 and North 150 roads. Douglas County Sheriff’s officers were still on the scene investigating the accident Saturday night. Further details were unavailable.
