State stickers aim to thwart thefts
State officials are asking farmers to help fight the spread of drug production in Kansas by affixing “Meth Watch” decals to their ammonia tanks.
The 30,000 stickers – enough for two stickers on every anhydrous ammonia nurse tank in the state – are being distributed by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and the Kansas Methamphetamine Prevention Project.
To obtain decals, contact T.J. Ciaffone at tciaffone@kdhe.state.ks.us. Decals also are being distributed through K-State Research and Extension offices, law enforcement organizations and agricultural associations.
